“Very challenging second big mastering session for new album ‘Golden Omens’ at Gaz’s place in Bristol. It’s almost certainly a 25 track 2 disc double album.
“Some heavy duty repeat listening required to get the sequence right so it achieves escape velocity and maximises the chances of an out of body experience! It is a bit of a trip covering all bases from military drumbeat apocalyptic pop, surf rock, Leonard Cohen doomed romance ballads, psychedelicised eurovision pop, hibernation rock, police helicopter interrupted sleep dream meets feel flows by the Beach Boys in Splott rock, nautical psychedelia, and secular hymns to nature.”
